• A Brief about yourself and how you describe your own Personality and Persona.

My name is Ritu Singh. I am 49 years old young lady. I am a teacher and an artist too. I am an affable and hardworking person. I am a graduate from Delhi University. My interests include fashion designing, Fine Arts, and presently, I’m learning Air Pistol shooting. I believe we have come into this world to learn only. I want to grab all the knowledge of this universe.

• Your Achievements that makes you feel high.

Two years ago, I moved to Uttarakhand with very little money in my hand. I started my own coaching centre with just 4 students in the beginning but now I have more than 20 students. This is a great achievement for me. I have started my life from scratch.Also, last year in December I won a gold medal in 1st Uttarakhand master sports.

• Define the true beauty.

According to me, true beauty includes a positive mind and a pure heart. Beauty lies within a person’s heart and not just from the outside. It is something that can be felt within yourself and no one else can show it to you.

• What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?

For me, a healthy and happy family is one where there is a feeling of togetherness and respect, where you care about each others emotions and feelings.

• What is your favorite Idea of Holidaying?

Spending time in nature while listening to music with a cup of coffee.

• Why you are participating in Mrs India Queen of Substance?

I want to explore myself through Mrs India queen of Substance. This is a great platform for me to boost my self confidence and test myself and my capabilities. I want to show people that you can also become fit like me no matter what your age is.

• What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?

Nowadays, everyone is running behind money. People are betraying their close ones for money. They don’t think about the society, nature and animals. When I see people who are less fortunate than me begging on the streets and animals eating from the trash, it bothers me a lot.

• The Quote or saying that encourages you?

All is well

• What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?

True sportsmanship is when you give your 100% in your match. Even if you’re loosing you keep your head up and fight till the last moment and keep yourself cool. Respecting your opponents is a true sign of sportsmanship.

• If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?

If I were selected as a charity ambassador, I would work for the betterment of poor and less fortunate people. I would provide them employment so that they can earn for themselves and become independent. I would also work to protect animals from cruelty in the society. As humans the least we can do for animals is give them food and water, especially in this heat. So I would like to encourage people to come forward and work for the betterment of the society.
