  • Delhi
  • A Brief about yourself and how you describe your own Personality and Persona.
  • Briefly, I define myself as a multi-talented, multi-tasking, rebellious, confident, nurturing, strong and independent woman who is deeply emotional with emotional intelligence. I can always fight for anything I strongly believe in. On a personal level, I am a great listener and motivator to my people who need guidance. My Persona is like no matter what I always need to show up and appear strong and confident. Good or bad.....let's face it.

  • Your Achievements that make you feel high.
  • My first achievement in life was when I became the first daughter of all the families to step out of my comfortable home and moved into different cities all by myself for studies, which also made me the first ever financially independent daughter in the family. This is something that definitely makes me feel high. Secondly, I achieved my huge heights when I became a mother, because it eventually made me realise my own worth. Motherhood gave me a 'warrior spirit' which has beautifully transformed my whole life and hence I am leading a life with love, happiness peace and success.

  • Define the true beauty.
  • Well, I think the most beautiful thing in this world is a smile. A smile with the lips which reflects my happiness from my eyes and this happiness comes when I am peaceful, confident and comfortable in my own skin and I am really proud of my true self which needs no validation from others. So, for me a happy woman is a truly beautiful woman and that's her true beauty.

  • What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?
  • Family....... the best thing about the term 'family' is that it can never be defined the same way for everyone because every family is different from the other. However, in general the moment we say family, it clearly sounds as a one word definition for "the combination of health, happiness and fulfillment." So, I define a complete, healthy and happy family as the family where each and every one is equally-mutually loved, cared, respected, valued and supported irrespective of their age, appearance, their fortune or misfortune. A family which follows the high standards of discipline and self boundary; where everyone understands and full fill their responsibilities; where everyone definitely fights with each other but they also fight for each other; a family, where they look different, think different, behave differently but they still stand as one; a family, where they fight together against the tough times........that's my idea of an imperfectly perfect family.

  • What is your favourite Idea of Holidaying?
  • The idea of holidaying is to just relax, when I am holidaying I prefer to be with my truly loving people where we have no pressure to work, no formalities with anyone. All we have to do is lots of fun, heartfelt conversations, get more connected...more comfortable with each other at a beautiful place with lots of delicious food to eat. And, we have a comfortable routine and we get enough time to connect with our inner self and understand our own soul.

  • Why you are participating in Mrs India Queen of Substance?
  • I'm here because I want to set an example for everyone. I want to create my own legacy for our upcoming generations specially our daughters. This legacy is not materialistic but it is the legacy of power, confidence and freedom. I have been a sole parent to my 7 year old child for the last 6 years without any family support and I am proud of myself being the bread winner, the home maker and a hands on mother......all at the same time while taking a very good care of myself as well. Now, this beautiful opportunity has given me the new wings and this great platform of Mrs. India Queen of Substance is my new sky. I am heartfully grateful to this and I am sure to win the Crown. So my very first reason that I participated is for myself because I really really love myself. My vital reason to participate is for every other woman out there who really deserves the whole world but she pulls herself back due to many unwanted barriers. We agree that today's women are very much empowered but there are still many women who are pulling themselves back just because they think of themselves as weak being a woman. Sadly, the number of empowered women is still less than those of the hidden women hence, I want to inspire them as well that if I can do it then they also can definitely do it.

  • What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
  • This is somewhere related to the society and there are so many things that really bothers me a lot. I would like to highlight a few as below. *The first thing is the poor condition of the farmers and agriculture. It's really a sad thing to realize that those who are feeding us are dying of their own hunger. I think it's time for us to realize how to work towards making the condition of farmers and agriculture better. *The ruthless crimes against girls, women which includes rape, trafficking, love jihad and so many other crimes which we can't even imagine. It seems like no matter how much we educate our girls, make them physically, mentally, emotionally super strong, provide them with all the security tools, use all the technology to track their safety...... still, it is not enough to keep them safe just because they carry a female body.

  • The Quote or saying that encourages you?
  • Geeta Gyan has always been my true spiritual guide in every situation. Hence, my ultimate favourite quote is from "Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta" that keeps me going on and on and it says: ??????????????????? ?? ????? ?????? It means that you can control your actions only but you cannot control the result of your actions. Simply..... You can control what you do but you cannot control what happens. Hence, you should always put your complete efforts with the great intention toward every action you perform however you should never be worried and attached with the outcome.

  • What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?
  • True sportsmanship is to keep going without giving up on your aspirations irrespective of success or failure. If you become successful, your true sportsmanship encourages you to keep working for higher goals. If you fail, your true sportsmanship keeps you motivated and encourages you to improve and try again.

  • If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?
  • I think there are multiple society issues which are equally important and must be handled on top priority, however if I have to choose one then I believe that what we are losing vigorously and rapidly is our own mother earth.....our environment. So its high time that we start making it green again all over......not only in villages, mountains or any other place which is filled with the natural beauty but in the high tech cities as well. I want to do it for every man, woman and child. I really want to do it for our upcoming generations because all of us own the right to breath and we owe this right to each other.
