  • I am Dr. Manisha Kulshrestha, a Medical Director and Kathak dancer I am proudly representing Mrs India Queen of Substance. I am a unique blend of arts and science. Calm, compassionate, and resilient- that’s me. Confident yet grounded I believe a woman’s true beauty lies in her strength

  • Your Achievements that make you feel high.
  • I feel proud of my journey as a Medical Director, where I lead with care and responsibility. I was selected three times at the national level for classical dance by the Government of India at a young age. I have received awards for excellence in healthcare and leadership. I have also won recognition in golf and pageants. But when I reach out to the underprivileged women and children, support them selflessly, it gives me immense pleasure, a feeling beyond compare. I feel proud that I raised my children to be good human beings and successful in their careers as well as be a support to my husband in his Army career.

  • True beauty comes from within—it’s our kindness, strength, positive attitude and the way we treat fellow human beings. It’s not just the looks, but how we make positive impact in the life of others.

  • What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?
  • A complete, healthy and happy family for me, is one where there is love, understanding, mutual respect, support, emotional connect along with physical and mental wellbeing. Where everyone feels safe and grows together, and where we are confident that the family members will stand by us whenever we need them.

  • What is your favourite Idea of Holidaying?
  • I enjoy vising new places, travelling to different countries, experiencing diverse cultures, exploring wild life sanctuaries, relaxing and immersing in the beauty of nature and participating in thrilling adventure sports with family and friends, while making beautiful memories together.

  • Why you are participating in Mrs India Queen of Substance?
  • Participating in Mrs India Queen of Substances has given me a high, boosted my confidence and it has made me believe that I can represent women of my country which I am so proud of. I can be a messenger whose voice people will listen to. Through this platform I can spread awareness, uplift women and children, generate funds to help the poor and needy.

  • What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
  • What bothers me most about what is happening in the country today is the hardship faced by common man due to the impact of Middle East war and global conflicts which has made life harder and worrisome.

  • Believe you can and you are half way there.

  • What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?
  • Stay humble in victory and courageous in defeat.

  • If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?
  • I would reach out to the underprivileged women and children, handhold them, create awareness, help them feel confident and empowered. I will be genuinely concerned about the challenges they are facing and be there to help them rise above their limitations in order to improve their quality of life
