  • A Brief about yourself and how you describe your own Personality and Persona.
  • I am Rima Agarwal. I am a graduate. I am 43 years old. I have two lovely children. My husband is well maintained and a very supportive person and has been there with me since past 20 years. I am a housewife. I am from Siliguri, West Bengal. This place is at the base of the “Queen of Hills-Darjeeling”. I am an emotional person but I am strong at heart. I don’t give up easily. I believe in doing things silently because “actions speak louder than words”.

  • Your Achievements that makes you feel high.
  • The biggest achievement for any mother is raising her kids right. My biggest achievement is definitely a loving and happy family.

  • Define the true beauty.
  • “Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder”. Beauty for me is not just physical appearance but inner beauty as well. A beautiful woman should be smart and should be able to handle any situation. She must be kind, compassionate, helpful, loving and a caring person.

  • What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?
  • For me a complete ,healthy ,and happy family is the one which stays together in good as well as bad times. In todays world when children are moving out of there parents house, I am blessed with a joint family. Which is very supportive and loving. They have been with me during my toughest times , it would have been impossible to stay strong without them being my side . Trust plays a key role in keeping a family together.

  • What is your favorite Idea of Holidaying?
  • Holidaying for me is taking a break from my routine life , relaxing , taking some time out for myself and my loved ones. Place is of mere importance when it comes to spending time with family and enjoying.

  • Why you are participating in Mrs India Queen of Substance?
  • I was always fascinated with smartness and beauty,I looked to people who are bold enough to do things their way. The platform for ‘mrs’ category is new (have started a few years back).When I was young ,I did not think about it but with age I have become more comfortable with myself.

  • What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
  • I think human trafficking is the worst thing that is happening since ages. This should be stopped. These people are the worst sufferers. They are treated as animals. Our country is lacking behind to the concept of Organ Donation. There should be more awareness about it. People should be open to donate organs of their loved ones. ‘An organ gifted is a gift of life’.

  • The Quote or saying that encourages you?
  • “Work hard and success will follow you” “Keep faith in God” “Bhagwan ke ghar mein dher hai andher nahi” These have been true in my case. I have worked hard , kept faith in God and he has brought me out of complicated situations. I have always come out with flying colours.

  • What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?
  • True sportsmanship for me is to never give up . Play my game fine and give my 100%. Whether I win the Mrs Universe title or not . I already consider myself a winner. This is totally a new platform for me and coming this far is really overwhelming. If I win it will be a proud moment for me and my family.

  • If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?
  • If I were selected as a Charity Ambassador, I would help this organisation move further. In addition I would like to create awareness about Organ Donation.
