  • New Delhi
  • A Brief about yourself and how you describe your own Personality and Persona.
  • Simplicity and fun loving is my personality. I take on challenges courageously. I am solution oriented and keep optimism even in the toughest times. A softie at heart, I am a Karma believer.

  • Your Achievements that makes you feel high.
  • In the past I've received appreciation for working as a singer for Akashvani Radio, Stage Drama Producer for Doordarshan U.P during my early days, followed by starting a handmade jewellery business, home-run cooking business, teaching dance to a bunch of children and lastly I got crowned as Mallika-é-Awadh Mrs.India 2020. However, I think I feel high when I help those in need. For example last year, my house help maid got diagnosed with a 3 kg tumor in her stomach, which was extremely fatal for her. She needed a sum of 40K for her treatment but even her family had given up on her. So, I decided to help her out and got her treated. I felt happiest when I saw her happy post her recovery. That for me has been one of my biggest achievements.

  • Define the true beauty.
  • In my opinion, true beauty comes from a pure heart. It is rightly said, eyes are the windows to the soul of a person. A person's beauty is reflected in their thoughts and attitude. Thus, a person with a pure heart, clear thoughts and polite attitude is truly beautiful for me.

  • What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?
  • A family is complete, happy and healthy when its members are understanding, caring, supportive and compatible. Like every relation, Trust plays a key role in a happy family. A family following a well balanced lifestyle will definitely be healthy.

  • What is your favorite Idea of Holidaying?
  • Any quality time spent happily with family is my kind of holiday. A simple picnic at a nearby park in pleasant weather, full of giggles and memories is my favourite.

  • Why you are participating in Mrs India Queen of Substance?
  • Ever since I was a child, I was always looked down upon for having a rather darker complexion, but when I saw divas like Sushmita Sen, Lara Dutta earning titles at beauty pageants it became a dream for me to win one myself as well. Winning such a title in 2020 boosted my confidence. Then my daughters encouraged me to participate this time as well and hence, I'm here.

  • What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
  • Our country is heavily influenced by politics in all its aspects. The leaders of the nation themselves at times disrespect the Indian constitution through their acts. Likewise, even the public has become extremely selfish to which there's no extent. Every legislative session, policies are made but barely are efficiently applied. Do you know the punishment for taking the life of a dog ? I repeat taking the life of a living being? It's just Rs 50/-. Communal hatred, violence, corruption, discrimination, injustice and so many more feel like permanent residents of our country now. This makes me worry about where we as human beings are heading to, what about humanity?

  • The Quote or saying that encourages you?
  • Positivity is the best tea.

  • What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?
  • I believe, 'sportsmanship' is a collective term for a bunch of virtues like discipline, determination, optimism, honesty and team-spirit.

  • If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?
  • Malala Yusuf Zai rightly said, "One Teacher, One Pen and One Book Can Change The World". I firmly believe proper education is the need of the hour. By education I do not mean literacy, by education I refer to imparting knowledge, intelligence, understanding and problem solving. As a Charity Ambassador, I would want to spread awareness on the importance of practical education instead of rot learning and equal education for all.
