  • I am Julie Fernandes from the ‘Pearl of the Orient’, Goa. I am currently residing in Bangalore with my husband and daughter. My husband is from Rajasthan, and I live and breathe the richness of these diverse cultures. I work for an MNC and strive to be a strong leader. I believe one needs to keep learning to evolve and I keep looking for opportunities to transform myself. I coach and mentor women who want to reboot their careers. Gratitude has been my source of energy. I am compassionate and a self-motivator. I love to travel with my family and explore different places and their cultures.

  • Your Achievements that makes you feel high.
  • I believe in celebrating each milestone as I progress. Every experience brings a new dimension and makes me believe of attaining learnings. Each time I influence someone to be their better version I count it as an achievement.

  • Beauty for me is soul with gratitude. It’s how you make someone feel and spread the aura.

  • What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?
  • A complete healthy and happy family is the one who has a heart-to-heart connection. One who respects, trusts each other, and grows together.

  • What is your favorite Idea of Holidaying?
  • For me a holiday is an opportunity to rejuvenate my body, soul, and relations. Any place with my family around is an ideal vacation.

  • Why you are participating in Mrs India Queen of Substance?
  • I have been inclined towards pageants since a young girl. I realised this is a medium to showcase women as both beautiful and strong. It’s not just about fulfilling my dream, but this platform will empower me to support and guide other women and children.

  • What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
  • Our country is always in a turmoil when it comes to women safety and child abuse. We need more strict rules and an education system that is inclusive. Water scarcity is another hard-hitting truth of our country in addition to global warming and climate changes.

  • The Quote or saying that encourages you?
  • As rightly said by Kalpana Chawla, “Daring to rise, braving the odds, reaching for the stars, dreams are forever.”

  • What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?
  • For me a true Sportsmanship is generous right mix of patience, support, positive approach, and the passion of sport.

  • If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?
  • As a Charity Ambassador I would like to pave way into empowering women and children through different platforms to rise and create a safe environment to live and laugh. Stay focused on MIQS mission to enhance strength, energy and spirit for the advancement of women and positively impact their communities.
