  • Define the true beauty.
  • To me true beauty is a reflection of compassion, confidence, smartness, elegance, intelligence, grit, innocence, feministic, cogent and resilience. It is the ability to accept one’s uniqueness and capability to confidently radiate it with positivity to inspire others and bring meaning to the life of oneself and others.True beauty is something that would define oneself beyond their age, education, family background or how rich or poor one is. It is about finesse not just features, about internal benevolence and not just physical beauty, about feelings and not just fitness and about character and not just the complexion.

  • What is your favorite Idea of Holidaying?
  • I prefer to embark a journey with less planning as possible and uncover the voyage as I go along. I prefer not to get ready every day morning to pose for pictures behind monuments but to wake up and be in my most comfortable dress to only mingle with nature and smell fresh green air, taste pure river water and eat the fallen fruits from tall trees. With much hassle to cover so many visitor points in the given days to ensure return on the money invested in the tour- but to just relax with nature listening to hymns of it. Eat food with those natives who are extremely warmth with their hospitality and sleep looking at stars and moon in a chilling night inside quilt is my favorite idea of holidaying

  • Why you are participating in Mrs India Queen of Substance?
  • Queen of Substance as I see is an embodiment of beauty with purpose in making difference to the lives of others. I believe through this platform I would be able to enhance my capability through great learning and use the same in making difference in the lives of others through inspiring them. There are lot of women out there (especially married women) with substance but lacks the courage to unveil their taboos and participate in pageant to celebrate womanhood, prove their substance and be the change they want to see. I want to be the change I want to see through participating in Mrs. India.

  • What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
  • Although we take in pride in saying that we are one of the fastest growing countries in the world, sexual violence and statistics on rape in India would make every patriotic Indian to bend their neck on shame. Average reported data on sexual violence in India is 6.3 per 100000 population, which is not a big number – but the same report says that 99% of the cases goes unreported. Off late we also see the sexual abuse of minor age category rapidly increasing. What is even hurting is in spite of so many horrendous cases like nirbhaya, bhanwari devi, sitapur gang rape and the list goes long – we still don’t have strict laws and reforms to curb rape, child sexual abuse and sexual violence.

  • The Quote or saying that encourages you?
  • Two quotes which I keep telling myself in life: 1. “Never let success get to your head and failure to your heart” 2. “If you have choice, then choose the best If you don’t have the choice, then do the best”

  • What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?
  • Sportsmanship is a capability to develop competence and excel continuously with grit to become the best professional. It about the ultimate resilience one possess to confront hardships and failures with optimism to learn from mistake and self-craft oneself. True Sportsmanship does not only lies in winning the toughest games but also playing the easiest game fairly with respect, it is not just about winning every game but about performing better by giving the best, It is not just about playing the best game but true commitment in preparing / practicing every day to play the best game.

  • If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what Value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?
  • “Give man a fish, you feed him for a day Teach him how to fish, you feed him for a life time” I strongly believe that education has the capability to eradicate poverty, ignorance and crime rate. Three biggest reasons which is curbing India from becoming a developed country. If I am selected as the Charity Ambassador, I would like to promote awareness about necessity of education to the under-privileged children, girl children and women who are denied education due to social taboos. To use social media and technology to reach to the masses in creating interest groups to educate children and women of target population. I am currently working on a similar project on a small scale which is running successfully for the past 4 years. Hence I am confident that this model can be scaled up to reach millions of children in need.
