• A Brief about yourself and how you describe your own Personality and Persona.

Hi, I am Lakshmi Krishnamurthy 29 years old and IT professional by qualification happily married to my boyfriend and blessed with 2-year-old daughter. Being an Engineer applying the theories and principles of science and mathematics to research and develop solutions to problems helps me reforming these principles to create a sustainable future by bringing engineering to life. The true artistic ability in me makes me beautiful, attractive, graceful, and a stylish person which also gives me confidence and helps me stand out of crowd.I am very passionate, enthusiastic, making me highly focused to unleash my creativity, which makes me more willing to take risks to achieve my goals as nothing can substitute experience. I choose to be positive and have a grateful attitude to determine my future.

• Your Achievements that makes you feel high.

The beautiful journey from a daughter to wife and a mother now, has given me exposure to reality in life where each day has given me opportunity to learn something new and apologize for my mistakes, I have come in with a positive attitude to become a better person with a perfection. My biggest achievement is having consistency throughout my ups and downs in life, which also helps me achieve what I desire. Since success is always not about greatness. It’s about consistency. I truly believe my consistent hard work will lead to success. Being a persistent performer makes me feel high and gives me immense confidence to achieve my goals.

• Define the true beauty.

True beauty is being our self and analyzing the true qualities and capabilities within and working harder to bring the best of us to the outside world with courage and dignity, that might be anything, as every human is unique in their own fashion. This truly adds value to beauty and is just not the physical appearance. Wish to be a role model and inspire everyone to push themselves and bring out the best in them to be extraordinary.

• What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?

Being an Army kid discipline and punctuality is imbibed and practiced living our life which holds the family together with happiness. I am blessed to have such wonderful family and I follow these values and principles passed on to me with great respect. Their tremendous support throughout has let me live up to my desires. Fitness plays a vital role in our lives, which keeps us healthy and has led to quality living. The bond and love that we share among us and always being there for each other completes our family.

• What is your favorite Idea of Holidaying?

Being a working woman balancing family and friends is very important for me and I make sure to spend quality time with family and meet my friends too. My favorite idea of holidaying with family or friends is traveling to new place and exploring new things. Love the vacation mode on!!

• Why you are participating in Mrs India Queen of Substance?

I have the courage to follow my heart and intuition, as they already know what i truly want to become. Since opportunity doesn’t knock all doors, I want to create opportunities for me to fulfill my dreams. This makes me one of the finalist of MRS India queen of substance to showcase my talent in this prestigious platform and exhibit the best in me to the world. Also, this being Philanthropy partner with HCWA, gives me satisfaction participating who work for such wonderful cause. The title helps to bring out the best substance in me and outshine, winning this Title will add lot of value and motivate me to achieve more and look forward with dignity.

• What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?

The most undeserving people out of the lot gets their things done with their power, money and contacts while a common man strives so hard to even get what is his. Money plays a vital role and the mindset of the people is tuned to the # of digits a person ($) has with him/her. People with good heart stay unnoticed in the society over a person who can afford to buy the same society. Though it’s a pride being a citizen of this great country, humans are distinguished apart.

• The Quote or saying that encourages you?

The Quote which encourages me "In the midst of winter, I finally realized there lay within me an invincible summer!"by Albert Camus, which talks about finding strength within during the worst of times.

• What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?

True sportsmanship is to fight till end and never give up on anything without even trying. Winning or losing is not important but giving a tough competition to competitor’s is very much appreciated. And not to forget success after failure is the best achievement as we do all right things to achieve and shine, which will never fade.

• If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what Value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?

This would remain as one of my greatest achievement if I would be selected for such valuable cause. I would want to encourage education for poor and women empowerment in the society. I belong to IT world. I have built my networking with most of my clients I have worked with. These contacts would help me raise funds which in turn would support my need. Our society needs more and more such volunteers to unite and work towards mitigation of poverty. I have led such initiatives in my career and the people who were part of my team will extend their support when I ask for it. Together, I have the strength to build teams and collect funds to work towards betterment of our society. To summarize, I can be a good example on encouraging people to volunteer for such programs and dedicate some portion of their time for good deeds.
