  • Singapore
  • A Brief about yourself and how you describe your own Personality and Persona.
  • Benevolent, fierce minded with a brave heart, an art director, a dancer, a Fashion Marketer, a certified Fitness Instructor, now a freelance model and a marketing manager in Singapore- Yes, this is ME! After having lived in Kashmir, Ambala, Chandigarh, Kuwait, Melbourne and now Singapore, I realized that at every 100 feet, this world changes, so explore and learn. Born in a lovely Punjabi family with strong values & principles, I did my high school, graduation and worked in India after which I moved to Kuwait to live with my parents. I had to do a career switch and luckily I got into Fashion retail industry to further build my professional curve. I have always believed that every girl is beautiful and you have to love yourself first by being comfortable in your own skin. This belief led me to starting up a fitness studio in Kuwait where I trained women to love themselves by sweating it out with me in the workout class. Just when I was ready to share my life with someone, I found my life partner at the right time, I got married and settled in Australia. Work commitments made us relocate to Singapore.

  • Your Achievements that makes you feel high.
  • Achievements give me a sense of satisfaction but motivation to work towards the future. Every achievement gives birth to another ambition in life. To me they are like milestones that direct me through my chosen path.

  • Define the true beauty.
  • Beauty is about being true to yourself, respecting all beings and not discriminating or judging based on appearance, social status, color, cast and creed. Life is beautiful and simple, but sometimes people overlook this fact and induce complexity. Being a good soul and knowing the rights and the wrongs in life form the core of one’s beauty for me.

  • What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?
  • Family is not only who we are born to or are brought up with, my family are people that I love, and would want to be around, when possible. A complete family is where members have a friendly environment, where members support each other in rain and shine, and where people believe that eating right, being active and taking care of oneself are definitive ways of extending the blessed moments in life.

  • What is your favourite Idea of Holidaying?
  • Holiday is about taking time out to create extra special moments to capture and cherish in life, to spend time with my loved ones, eating comfort food and exercising harder to burn the extra calories. It’s not the place that matters, it’s the companion that lays the foundation for unforgettable holidays.

  • Why you are participating in Mrs India Queen of Substance?
  • I have always been inclined towards contributing to the betterment of this world in every possible way. I believe winning this title will present me with an extended reach and a bucket full of opportunities to make a difference and inspire others.

  • What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
  • Being an Indian by origin, I feel more for the state of women in India and the mindset of our so called “developing” nation. Yes, India is progressing in many fronts including IT, medical science and telecommunication, but we are digressing from the definition of a CIVIL society. Unfortunately, the word “Power” is viewed and measured in only physical form. Women, who are tougher mentally, with brains more equipped and more efficient for multi-tasking are still fighting for equality. But for me it is ludicrous on our part to even fight for it because we are way above this. You give a woman some wheat and she’ll make bread. You give her a house, she’ll make it a home. You give her your heart, she’ll create love. This is what I believe that every girl should engrave and implement in her day to day life.

  • The Quote or saying that encourages you?
  • If someone in this world has done it, so can you. Believe in yourself and do what’s right! Arrogance is a self-induced ailment which can only be self-doctored.

  • What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?
  • Is to acknowledge the efforts of others and being humble about one’s own achievements. To win is every person’s motto and losing is tough, but losing presents an opportunity and motivation to work harder for one’s own betterment.

  • If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what Value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?
  • I would devote my TIME &ATTENTION to the cause that I support and believe in. Time and attention are the pre-requisites to diminish pain and grief from this world. Lot of times people donate to help charities and support their chosen cause but I would want to give my time to understand and help prepare them for a better life.
