• A Brief about yourself and how you describe your own Personality and Persona.

I am a software engineer cum trainer by profession and currently on a break because I have a precious little daughter to attend to.  I strongly believe in living in the moment and taking each day at a time but that doesn’t mean I do not plan, I do construct and I do delineate however “Now” has always been the most important aspect of life for me.Both learning and unlearning have invariably been the architects of my path through the journey of life and I truly hold that success and good relationships are the sexiest Assets of life..

• Your Achievements that make you feel high.

I come from a family of IITians and toppers which had always left me pondering why couldn’t I crack those fancy degrees & eventually created a void within me however soon after I got married my better half made me realise I am way more than just degrees and that I have the potential to fly.I would call those invisible wings which helped me achieve many accolades and the love and the faith my family has in me  my true achievements.

• Define the true beauty.

Overcoming challenges or downhills with courage as well as grit and more importantly handling success with utmost respect and sobriety is true beauty for me.

• What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?

Transparency within the family and the ease to open up and talk about anything and everything is the true foundation of a happy family according to me.I've always believed that being rooted has a charm that has no parallel which eventually helps in building a very healthy family whether it’s our eating/sleeping habits,exercising or following our cultural and traditional values

• What is your favourite Idea of Holidaying?

To me both family as well as social life are equally important. Holidaying is spending quality time with either family or friends, sometimes close to nature at peace, sitting by the beach or bonfire enjoying each other’s company and relaxing OR simply a day well spent at home with kids lazing around without any rules to follow ...  and sometimes adventurous like snorkeling or sledging and trying to learn about the other world like underwater life.Holidaying is a blessing in this world full of chaos and ruckus so i believe in making the most out of it.

• Why you are participating in Mrs India Queen of Substance?

I really need a platform to show the world that I am more than just a techie or a typical software engineer.This pageant will help me explore myself and prove that life doesn’t stop after marriage and kids in-fact one should keep going on & on and keep inspiring.Also, I truly believe that there’s nothing greater than representing your country in whichever form possible HENCE participating in MRS INDIA and eventually representing my country will not only bring pride to the nation but will also give me immense satisfaction as a true citizen of India and might become a stepping stone in achieving my future endeavours.

• What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?

The series of rapes, child abuse and gang rapes is something that’s really getting out of control and criminals getting away just like that has become the new normal...so basically the judicial system of India really bothers me the most today .If there’s been a crime the criminals should be punished, that’s how the law should work, whether the accused was stoned or sober or a juvenile, all this should not hold any meaning after committing such atrocities and the accused should be put to test is what I believe.We can not live in a society full of fearless monsters that are burning people alive, raping and murdering, devastating families and shattering their confidence still getting away easily because of certain loopholes in the law. This really disgusts me and pulls me down because if we keep losing the beautiful assets of our society to such monsters we will soon turn into nothing but the crime capital of the world which shall be governed by the criminals and not the law.

• What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?

Holding on, keep learning from our failures, not letting success jeopardise the journey ahead and carrying your achievements with pride, glory and sobriety is true sportsmanship for me

• If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what Value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?

I have seen my mother suffering and fighting with cancer in my childhood and am once again seeing her battling with the same disease since it has hit her back after 23 years.  Looking at her development and improvement patterns I have understood that half the battle is won if you keep your will power strong which becomes almost impossible in this case as cancer breaks you from within.You really really need someone by your side to make one believe that triumph over cancer is possible and keep reassuring that everything’s soon gonna be okay so If I am given a chance I would really want to work for cancer patients. I know i'm no doctor but like I said half of it is in the mind so I would want to motivate and talk and listen and tell the patients that they are not alone and that they will one day definitely defeat the disease, may be through campaigns and events or online channels or financially
