• How do you describe yourself.

If I were to describe myself in one word , I would call myself a’FERNWEH’ which in turn reflects on my career & lifestyle. I am a person who likes to travel, learn new cultures, try new cuisines, interact with multiracial people and believe that travel and exposure outside your comfort zone makes you a better and humble humane. Finding new lands and the more I explore, every path tells me to go a little more and further.

• what are your achievements to make you feel high.

Hailing from a small town in the south during the era of no social media & internet abundance , I managed to follow my passion and get in to aviation field which was reserved for a privileged few at that time. Flying with two of our prestigious national flag carriers & a foreign carrier and being able to live an accomplished life where working has become a passion and a way of life is what makes me feel high about my achievements. Also being chosen to be part of the worlds pioneer crew to operate the first ever long haul flight in the world 2003 gives me immense happiness.

• What is true beauty.

I believe that no beauty shines brighter than a good heart. Real beauty lies in being one’s true self and being the best possible version of yourself

• What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you.

When you share, care , laugh, play , fight and give each other respect, support, space and treat everyone as equals that makes for a complete family and like the saying goes “ A happy family is an earlier heavan“

• What is you favourite idea of holidaying ?

Beach holidays excites me the most but at the same time I would like to go for a trek or a hike or a casual road trip as I belive each has it’s own charm and equips you to be a better person and makes you want to come back as a stroy teller. Besides all spending quality time with loved ones even in the house gives me the feel of a perfect holiday

• Why are you participating in Mrs India Queen of Substance?

I have achieved my dream job and now have a loving and supportive spouse , family and friends who believe in me as much as believe in myself. Since MIQS gave married woman a podium to achieve our dreams along partaking in social causes, it is a great opportunity to channelise my support and energies to deserving causes. It is an empowering platform to be a woman of substance as well as beauty with a cause.

• What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today.

: I condemn religious polarisation & wish that such divide doesn’t affect our beautiful nation with intense diversity. Also I am alarmed at the rate at which superstitious beliefs are on the rise even among highly qualified professionals.

• The Quote or saying that encourages you?

“LIVE AND LET LIVE” - The quote defines equal rights and respect to all and compassion to fellow humans and our four legged friends as well

• What is true sportsmanship for you?

True sportsmanship is in fairness, empathy and respect for your opponents and to lend a helping hand to them in need regardless of team rivalries. It is the knowledge that game is not important than humanity as winning and losing are two faces of the same coin.

• If you were selected as the charity ambassador what value addition would you like to make for our society and how?

I believe woman are the backbone of every society and If I am chosen as the charity brand ambassador I would definitely look in to avenues to make woman self reliant and independent alongside creating opportunities for them to hold parity in their respective fields. Economic Independence and well being of woman needs awareness and I would like to focus on these areas
