  • I take immense pride in my Personal, professional and Social achievements. We as a family contribute to various Organisations like IMFPA (Indian Mouth and Foot Painting Artist), Goonj, Blind School in Bhopal and Shiksharth NGO. Professionally, post completion of my MBA in HR, I have had a successful and enriching career over the last 16 years. In my current capacity, I manage the Leadership Acquisition function for Concentrix Daksh. On a Personal front, if your children come back with a pat on their back, you feel blessed to have given them the right set of values to help them become a better person everyday. My goal is to make everyday of my life more meaningful for myself and the people around me

  • Define the true beauty.
  • “Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself”. Beauty is both internal and external. It can exist individually as well. However, true beauty is a combination of both. If you are beautiful inside, you will radiate the same externally as well. Common saying is Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. I see it more philosophically. What I believe it means is that if you consider yourself to be beautiful and radiate the same energy to the beholder, you will attract the similar energy from the others as well.

  • What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?
  • Health for me is a combination of Mind, Body and Soul. The first step towards a Healthy and Happy Family is that you yourself exuberate the same. We practice a regimented life style which is a combination of Physical Activity and Mental Stimulation. Small initiatives like one meal together and taking turns to discuss the day goes a long way in building the family connect. My husband and I are part of the busy corporate world but we consciously take out time for each other. In fact, we’ve been practicing a Friday evening Outing for years and it helps us make time exclusively for each other as that’s an important part of a fulfilling relationship.

  • What is your favorite idea of holidaying?
  • My favourite idea of holidaying is love, laughter and quality time together as a family. Just recently last year for my brother’s 40th Birthday, we decided to go as a Family to Goa where my parents had never been. I planned the entire trip so that we could spend as much time together as a family. On a holiday I also look forward to my solitude as my children are enjoying with their cousin and grandparents. This gives me some time to rejuvenate and come back fresh for my regular Hustle and Bustle.

  • Why you are participating in Mrs. India Queen of Substance?
  • My mission in Life as Maya Angelou says “is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humour and some style. It's an absolute honour to be taking part in the Mrs India Queen of Substance pageant. This is once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and will be a moment that will always be cherished in my life. I'm really looking forward to being out there and serving this Platform as one of the esteemed Winner of the Crown. Especially as a title-holder, one can do things with Charities because one’s reach expands and influence is high. I want to be an inspiration especially for the Corporate Women who have somewhere abandoned their dream and took life as it was offered to them.

  • What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
  • The wastage of our natural resources bothers me the most about our country. There’s been a prediction that the third world war may happen because of water. Our country is a heaven loaded with natural resources, we must value and not waste these resources. We at an individual level can make a huge difference. For E.g. if we close our taps while brushing every day we could save approx. 10 liters of water. Imagine with a population of a billion+ people how much water can we save. If we don’t sensitize our kids and educate people on the same, there will come a day when our next generation will suffer.

  • The Quote or saying that encourages you?
  • I believe in one of the Quotes by Henry Ford: "If you think you can do a thing and or you think you cannot, either way you are right”. In other words “The moment you resolve to be victorious, every nerve and fiber in your being will immediately orient itself towards your success”. There is another quote I really cherish from Maya Angelou "My mission in Life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and do so with some passion, some compassion, some humour and some style."

  • What is true Sportsmanship for you?
  • Sportsmanship to me is the spirit of resilience. As one of the famous quotes of Rocky Balaboa goes “Life is not about how hard of a hit you can give, it’s about how many you can take and still keep moving forward." A very famous incidence comes to my mind when Sachin was a young boy playing against Pakistan in the famous match where all of Pakistan’s stalwart bowlers were hell bent on injuring him. Inspite of being injured badly, he kept saying “Main Khelega, main khelega”. He did not quit and that made the opponent team come up to him to congratulate him for his sportsmanship. People like these define the sportsmanship spirit for generations to follow.

  • If you are selected as a Charity Ambassador what value addition would you like to make for our society and how?
  • There are two things I am most passionate about. Under privilege Education and our Environment. As a Charity Ambassador for Mrs. India I can garner Support from Various Corporate Houses, synergize the efforts of Mrs. India Platform and Corporate forums like NASSCOM which have 1.3 Mn women members and a total of 1000+ Big and Small Organizations. I will take this combined strength to expand the reach and maximize the Social Cause coverage. This will be beneficial for both organisations. I will promote the cause of Mrs. India Woman of Substance and make sure that large organisations become a part of this journey and contribute as much as possible to HCWA.
