  • How you describe your own Personality and Persona.
  • I really liked this question! Indeed, like everyone else, my Personality has evolved over the period. My personality has been a great tool for me as well as the people around me in learning and unlearning, in building what is in need and eradicating the not so needed elements in our ecosystems. I bring six primary traits to the table. Surely an evaluator for risks, a positive thinker for ideas, an emotional support to build teams, a timely decision maker, a curious seeker of information and a perfect driver of fun. I would rather allow the people around me answer the latter, nevertheless. Appearing and standing by rights, advocating clarity and transparency in all circumstances and uplifting individual and group morale have been some of the identifications by my folks relating the above to my persona. I get deeply encouraged to know such things from others about me.

  • Your achievements that make you feel high?
  • I’ve experienced many dramatic emotional moments filled with pride, tears of joy and sorrows and endless laughter during the past 12 years of my association witha Stage and lives that revolve around it. I believe every individual is uniquely blessed with various talents and has equal potential to shine under the spot light. Being a teacher, I’m fortunateto come into contact with many such innocent and Godly creations ona day-to-day basis and impart value to their lives. However, the most thrilling and at the same time peaceful moment for me is when I watch my students perform with excellence. It is that moment when I turn around to see asense of satisfaction and unsurpassed joy on the faces of the parentswitnessing their children stand up confidently, performing their part while also supporting one another on the stage as a team. Finally, watching me being successful at winning so many hearts, it’s my Mother’s eyes that are lit up like a thousand stars and deep down inside, I know it is truly the most wonderful feeling I fill her up with.

  • Define the true beauty.
  • True beauty for me is a Heart that embodies the qualities of Wisdom, Courage and Compassion upheld towards every being in today’s whimsical times.

  • Do you consider yourself to be a giver or taker?
  • I consider myself to be a giver. The ultimate law of the universe teaches us the simultaneity of Cause and Effect. I believe in the law of Karma i.e. whatever you give, will come in return to you manifolds. So, give without hesitating as the most important part of your life will be the unseen random acts of kindness you performed.Life in-turn becomes a boomerang!

  • What is your favourite Idea of Holidaying?
  • Life, as we know under goes metamorphosis at every stage, and has a huge influence on the choices we make as individuals. After a certain period of time especially post our adolescent years, we have no shackles to break-free from nor build any pseudo walls to impress the World. With time, comes experience and it teaches us the most imperative lessons of life. With this maturity we begin understanding and appreciating our roots i.e. our FAMILY! It is those who know us well, accept and love us unconditionally for who we are, who complete every moment of our life. From cooking delicious food to fun and frolic, remembering childhood memories and engaging all members into traditional games such as Snakes and Ladders, Cards, Antakshari and Musical chairs, is the best definition of a warm and exciting holiday for me. Be it in the four walls or out in the scenic nature, it is my Family’s presence that completes every Precious Picture Perfect memory

  • Why you are participating in Mrs India Queen of Substance.
  • Mrs. India Queen of Substance is a beautiful platform to reach out to the masses in a very intellectual, compassionate and stylish way. It celebrates women who epitomize a complete package of Beauty WITH Brains! Women today don an attitude of a go-getter.As Jennifer Grahnolm says, “Often we women are risk averse. I needed the push. Now, more than ever, young women need more seasoned women to provide that encouragement, to take a risk, to go for it. Once a glass ceiling is broken, it stays broken.”Similarly, MIQS is creating this opportunity to empower women in all roles, thus adding immense value to the society at large. I’m glad to be a small part of it and all set to step out to explore a new me.

  • If you were given the chance to live again, what would it be?
  • I’d love to be reborn as Me. Everything that happens in life has a profound meaning. All the hardships and tough times that I have gone through, have made me humble. All the cheerful times that I have lived and blessings I have received in my life, have made me eternally grateful. Life for me until now has been very enriching and full of opportunities to explore the unknown. A beautiful set of family members and a very supportive and loving Husband and abundant hope for a wonderful future in the various roles of womanhood, what more could I ask for? However, even if I am reborn in any other form by God’s will, I’m sure I will be able to unveil the magic of yet another mysterious path for myself.

  • The quote or saying that encourages you .
  • “This too shall pass”

  • Many teenagers and youngsters are bullied worldwide for having
  • Today the entire World is in a rat race and it is but natural that the children suffer with complexity issues. The lack of self-acceptance often misleads them on a pretentious path, creating low self-esteem and destruction of moral values. My message to the teenagers and youngsters today would be – Be You! There is genuine beauty in your uniqueness and let’s not forget, God has put in a lot of time and thought in creating each one of us the way we are. Respecting ourselves is like respecting God’s will. And come on – Eventually, IT IS THE HEART THAT MATTERS!

  • If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what Value addition would you like to do for our Society and how? Why do you think giving back to society is important?
  • “You educate a man; you educate a man. You educate a woman; you educate a generation.” Education and knowledge are not just confined to books. I wish to create a platform where the not so fortunate people in the society can attend workshops on skill development, health and hygiene, self-defense especially for girls, social awareness, family counseling sessions and knowledge sharing through real life experiences. Public figures can serve as role models in such a set up and have anenormous influence on the masses. Support from social media can go a long way too. If the people can see opportunities to create a livelihood and develop skill for themselves through any of the workshops, all of us together can eradicate poverty, unemployment and crimes in our society. I would also love to be involved with kids who have special needs, old age homes and orphanages.“Knowledge has to be improved, challenged, and increased constantly, or it vanishes.”– Peter Drucker. Thus, as a Charity Ambassador I wish to drive systems through knowledge, skill and attitude development.
