Deblina Sarkar

  • Bangalore
  • A Brief about yourself and how you describe your own Personality and Persona.
  • I’m Deblina Sarkar, from silicon city bangalore. I live in Sydney, Australia. I work as a software engineer and a professional model in Lakme Australia. I am a go- getter person.I know exactly what I want to do in my life. Things which attract me are someone who is highly positive and motivating. Things which turn me off are figuring out negative thoughts before dreaming about anything. I like to push and motivate someone for their dreams/goals without expecting anything in return. I did this with my family and many of my friends and they usually say that hey these were just on my mind and because of you we are seeing it happen finally. I’m a very sensitive person.I like to appreciate people for their achievements or looks or how they are as a person. I strongly believe that women empowerment means to realize that you are unique and you don't have to compare yourself with anyone..start doing the things which you wish someone would have done for you. I have huge plans for the future, I like to dare to dream to achieve big things. This is who I am, I believe in myself and nothing can stop me to shine in my own way.

  • Your Achievements that makes you feel high.
  • Personal Life- Honestly, I think of all the careers and professions, being a mother is the best thing that has ever happened to me and surely I'll count that as a personal Life achievement. Professional Life- ? When I moved to Sydney, it was recession time going on after 20 years. At that time, I’ve cracked not only one interview(for the role of software engineer in a reputed MNC) but I’ve cracked three interviews and it was my choice to select any one of them. Definitely it is an achievement for me. ? I’ve won the title of Mrs. India Australia Beautiful Face 2021 (By Raj Suri missindia.com.au). ? I’ve won Mrs. India Gorgeous 2022. ? I’ve won Mrs. Tech Diva 2023.

  • Define the true beauty.
  • Beauty is being the best possible version of yourself, inside and out. In my view, beauty is not just about good looks but an overall personality which is positive, confident and makes others around feel valued. Beauty is feeling joyful from within and radiating it out with a smile when meeting others, spreading positivity and love.

  • What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?
  • I believe a complete, happy and healthy family is where you feel being yourself, where you feel supported and motivated by people around you. Where you feel there are people to lift you up and not pull you down. I believe it's not the only blood relationship which makes a family, it's the people, their mindset, the love and compassion that makes a happy family. After All the souls which give us inner peace, that's where we feel home.

  • Why you are participating in Mrs India Queen of Substance?
  • I want to participate in Mrs India Queen of Substance because there are so many things I can learn not only about myself, but also about communication skills, leadership, interviews, and poise! One of the million reasons is that it’s a great platform to build up your self-Confidence. I see Pageantry as a doorway for me because I am someone who wants to be on stage, give back, and of course learn more about myself! I never saw pageantry as a competition, I always looked at it as a learning experience. Because out of the whole weekend, we can earn so much that it’s beyond mind blowing what we can actually grasp!

  • What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
  • India is the world's largest democratic country with vast cultures, different religions, center of scientific innovations and many more. However, where we have so many reasons to be proud of, at the same time there's one thing which bothers me a lot and that is human violence example, An ethnic clash erupted in the state of Manipur between different communities. I feel that the development of any country directly depends on the peace and harmony within the country. I truly believe all disputes can be resolved by mutual discussions and respecting each other’s belief and boundaries.

  • The Quote or saying that encourages you?
  • As we work to create light for others, we naturally light our own way. -Mary Anne Radmacher The above written quote describes me as I am a proud supporter of cancer council india and australia and i have hosted many fundraising events for the same. I have provided medications for all of the cancer patients in one of the cancer associations in india. I’ll continue to do such work. Afterall, no one can become poor by giving.

  • What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?
  • I believe true “sportsmanship” goes beyond the game, it starts with respect. It's our response to winning and losing that makes us a winner or loser. It’s not just about winning or losing, but to learn about teamwork, learn about discipline, and the value of working together for a common goal.
