  • Being able to mother a wonderful son, articulating my thoughts in poetry (my book of poems, “Shape of Emptiness” was published by the Vine Leaves Press, Melbourne in 2017) and professionally enjoying and loving my job of a learning and development facilitator with a leading bank of the country are my achievements.

  • True beauty is a heady mix of poise, contentment, confidence, mystery, warmth and kindness in the right proportions.

  • What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?
  • A family with a lot of love and support for each other, where each member treats the others with respect and kindness and knows how to laugh and sometimes cry together is a complete, healthy, happy family for me.

  • What is your favorite Idea of Holidaying?
  • A holiday spent on sun kissed beaches or snow clad mountains, connecting deeply with nature, sharing all the beauty and joy with loved ones, is my favourite idea of Holidaying.

  • Why you are participating in Mrs India Queen of Substance?
  • I am participating in this pageant to share with the world, my idea of beauty that is a true combination of external and inner beauty and brains – the true woman of substance. I am also participating in the contest, to make the invisible crown on my head a reality – the dream of a little girl to wear a sash and a crown.

  • What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
  • Midst a lot of good things happening in the country today, what is unfortunate and bothers me to see is children still not getting all the opportunities they deserve. There is still a lot of children stuck in highly unfavourable circumstances deprived of the love and support of elders, education, play time and the opportunity to bloom. I hope every child in my country gets the beautiful childhood they deserve soon.

  • "Yesterday is not ours to recover, but tomorrow is ours to win or lose." – Lyndon B. Johnson. I truly live by this quote.

  • What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?
  • May the best player win – playing on every stage embodying the spirit of this saying is true "Sportsmanship" for me.

  • If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what Value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?
  • As a Charity Ambassador, I would like to reach out to a wider audience and build awareness on the need to have equal opportunity for all children, on the importance of having healthy, happy childhood for our children for building a truly strong nation as our children are our future.
