  • As a defence kid, I have always witnessed the thrill. Transfers, change of schools and outskirts of the city influenced my amiable and practical nature. Even though I feel that I grew up as an introvert, a full time job post my graduation offered me a pool of opportunities to explore the hidden side . Then, armed forces happened to me. Completely ignorant about the stern and unrelenting face of mine,Naval academy training and uniformed service unleashed the best in me to rule my soul with the pangs of serving the nation as a GD Officer for first three years and subsequently joined the operational cadre of the

  • Your Achievements that makes you feel high.
  • I have tried my best to attach many feathers to my cap till date and shall continue to do so in future. From my Bachelors in Engineering degree to be able to participate in all co-curricular activities during college and in my work environment as well, to be able to follow my dreams and execute them with vigor, enthusiasm and unquestioned support by my close ones, my every night where I have slept satisfied with my day can be related to as an achievement. However, a major turning point for me has been joining the Defence Forces which allowed me to unleash my capabilities within to serve the country and be a part of the esteemed organization.

  • Define the true beauty.
  • In my perspective, true beauty is a mixture of being comfortable in your own skin with a dip of addressing moral ethics towards others. Any color, creed, caste, sex gifted by God cannot be termed as ‘true beauty’ because ultimately, true beauty is not what you are born with, but what you become later, as that’s what lies in your hands.

  • What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?
  • A complete, healthy and happy family would mean providing each other space yet supporting each other constantly, not being judgmental yet endowing each other with required solutions in trying times, being individuals yet staying connected with invisible auras; irrespective of the number of family members. Also, a healthy lifestyle builds the foundation of a family because without one’s own health, you cannot attend to others.

  • What is your favorite Idea of Holidaying?
  • Any plan which allows you to move out of the daily schedule of profession and work, leaving you with long lasting happy memories to look back upon with the perfect set of people around you is what I shall tag as a perfect holiday. Moreover, a recliner on some sun kissed white pristine sandy beach with a jazz party at night to look forward to with my near and dear ones shall complete my idea of a holiday.

  • Why you are participating in Mrs India Queen of Substance?
  • It feels immense pleasure to state that every word in the title “Mrs India: Queen of Substance” draws me closer to defining myself. I feel this pageant shall give me an opportunity to represent those millions of girls out there who dare to dream and just need that thrust and throttle to execute their vision. In my first few years of life, I feel I have possessed, maintained and proved my mettle and substance by standing steadfast in my professional and personal being. Moreover, the word ‘India’ was embossed on me the day I joined the forces proving ‘Service before Self’. Hence, I feel elated to relate to this pageant in such an intimate manner.

  • What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
  • It is true that India has been progressing persistently in terms of technology and development. However, I feel a major setback which may prove as a root cause to all the chaos in the country is lack of moral ethics. It is said that curbing negative traits in children from their childhood itself shall assist them to emerge as a better individual and a better citizen as well. However, due to unavailability of moral science classes in schools and parents not being able to physically or emotionally attend to their kids, the toddlers end up being the wrong doers hence, creating a setback for the country as a whole.

  • The Quote or saying that encourages you?
  • One of my evergreen quote is “Never give up as times keep changing” since it fits into every situation possible. Be it personal or professional situation crisis, it works wonders for me. Another mantra for me is to “Breathe (long), Introspect (requirement), Act (step by step)” which is a life saving technique when I feel in a thick soup.

  • What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?
  • True Sportsmanship can be defined as when you are fair to your opponent if you win and you feel gracious and more experienced, if the other wins. It basically focuses on comprising a healthy competition amongst individuals where one never loses but adds on more to their experience.

  • If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what Value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?
  • If I am honored to be the Charity Ambassador, I would certainly list maximum number of institutional/professional courses for the household women for requisite knowledge, in collaboration with all the educational universities, which shall grant the ladies an opportunity to chase their dreams and be extremely confident with financial independence to face greater challenges of life. Also, the ladies will prove as a more efficient working force for the country due to their excellent communication skills, compassionate nature and upholding at par between home and work. Also, free counseling classes preferably online, pertaining to domestic or office issues, shall instill the women to be motivated enough to never step back, thus assisting them to take realities of life head on, thus helping them to materialize as better individuals.
