Finalist Detail 2018

Asst Comdt S Gogia

  • New Delhi
  • A Brief about yourself and how you describe your own Personality and Persona.
  • I strongly believe that “life does not get better by chance, it gets better by
efforts”. I am a crisis manager and a situation changer. I always keep a master card
that I throw in the end. I set my Goals, work hard and grab the right opportunity. I
strive to maintain a balance in personal and professional life, as I believe that if we
perform our duties then only we will be happy to chase our dreams. I am a General
Duty officer in the youngest armed force of the Union of India “The Indian Coast
Guard”, currently posted at Delhi and I am proud to be an Indian.

  • Your Achievements that makes you feel high.
  • My biggest achievement is that I have earned the faith of my Country to ensure
    its security against all odds.

  • Define the true beauty.
  • True beauty lies in our thoughts as we are reflection of our thoughts. Beauty is
like sea, as simple as the sea surface and as complex as the depth of the sea.

  • What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?
  • A complete family is a “united” family. A happy family is the one in which you
have people around you to share your joys as well as their sorrows. A family
which has a sense of liberation instead of being bounded. A healthy family is the
one, where, the overall development of the younger ones and the elderly are being
    taken care off.

  • What is your favorite Idea of Holidaying?
  • I believe that if you are not travelling then you are not living. A traveler lives
1000 lives in one life. Perhaps a perfect idea of holidaying means to me a travel with my family or friends to explore a new place and spend some time with people
who belong to that place as I believe that the citizens of a place are the best book
to refer to know about its roots.

  • Why you are participating in Mrs India Queen of Substance?
  • Mrs India Queen of substance believes that we all owe something to the
society and so do I. We all can be glamorous and stylish but very few are
privileged to be a part of the team that is MIQS and philanthropy partner
HCWA who working for various causes like spreading awareness on women
hygiene, girl child education and to spread a word against female foeticide. All
the finalists for MIQS 2018 including me are privileged to be part of this team
    and work for the cause.

  • What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
  • The two most sensitive sections of our society are children and women, who
are being exploited the most. In spite of so many efforts for upliftment of women
and children, they are still unsafe on streets, in their house, at their schools and
workplace, which is the most alarming situation in the country.

  • The Quote or saying that encourages you?
  • “All power is within you, you can do anything and everything. Believe in
that, do not believe that you are weak, do not believe that you are half-crazy
lunatics, as most of us do nowadays. You can do anything and everything,
without even the guidance of any one. Stand up and express the divinity
    within you.”
    Swami Vivekananda

  • What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?
  • True “Sportsmanship” is about getting better as a player and as a person with
    each game.

  • If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what Value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?
  • I would like to collect and divert the resources towards child and women
development. To make an impact on society on large scale, the most important thing
that is required to be handled tactfully is “Media”. Being influential is not enough it
is equally important to touch lives of many people as “media gives what people
want”. So I would like to conclude that for a Charity Ambassador to collect maximum
resources the most important task will be to use the media in right direction.
