  • Being born and brought up in a small town like Lucknow, my dreams to touch the sky and travel the world seemed distant. However, by God’s grace, my determination and the support of my parents brought me an opportunity to work with Air India which changed my entire life. Exposure to the world and meeting wide variety of people has enhanced my personality and confidence.

  • What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?
  • Togetherness, love and living the ‘WE’ culture keeps my family happy. Of course, happiness around you produces positive cells in your body which in turn keeps us healthy and fit. “Together we can, together hand in hand, together we believe we can” is my mantra of a happy and complete family.

  • What is your favourite Idea of Holidaying?
  • A time well spent with my family, enjoying every minute of togetherness. In the arms of nature, enjoying serenity, relaxing and rejuvenating ourselves.

  • Why you are participating in Mrs India Queen of Substance?
  • Definitely, like any other participant, it has been my dream to be here. With all the little and big things that have happened during the course of my life have strengthened me as a woman. This world has given me a lot and I believe it is now time for me to give it back to the society. This happens to be the best platform to help me in this regard.

  • What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
  • What affects me most in our country is the huge gap between the rich and the poor. The poor are getting poorer and rich are getting richer. The poor are shelter less without any food, education and medical help. This really jolts me and I feel something should be done to narrow this gap.

  • The Quote or saying that encourages you?
  • “The mind is everything. What you think you become” Gautama Buddha. It is said that like attracts like. Whatever we think, the entire universe works to bring that to us. To make your surroundings positive, always think positive.

  • What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?
  • Sportsmanship to me is acting in the most ethical manner in every situation and having high moral values. Only by rising above the negative emotions like resentment, jealousy, fear can help us with this and I strive to work towards this every single day.

  • If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what Value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?
  • The condition of the poor dying without any medical help and attention is something I would like to change in our country. Small steps can be taken by collaborating with NGO’s, hospitals, charitable trusts to start small and then take this to the next level.
