  • Hi, my name is Yogita, currently I am working as Assistant professor in Department of Environmental studies, Dnyanprassarak Mandal’s College and Research Centre, Goa. I have total 10 years of experience in research and teaching. My better half’s name is Milind and we are married for 13 years. Together we are proud parents to our beautiful daughter Aryaa. I am “happy go lucky” kind of a person. I love fitness and dance. One thing you can’t miss about me is my smile. A message I would like to give to today’s youth is that give 100% in whatever you do.

  • Your Achievements that makes you feel high.
  • I have many feathers in my cap but the one which makes me feel high is qualifying Joint CSIR UGC NET examination in the subject life sciences with all India rank 32, It is one of the most difficult test to crack, lakhs of aspirants apply for this test every year as clearing the test opens up opportunities for research and teaching in the best Institute in India and abroad.

  • According to me true beauty exists everywhere, and it radiates from within us. It comes in all shapes, sizes, colors, and sexes. We have to celebrate all kinds of beautiful.

  • Being together and maintaining a healthy relationship with each other makes a complete, healthy and happy family for me.

  • What is your favourite Idea of Holidaying?
  • Sun, beach and breeze are my favorite idea of holidaying along with my family.

  • Why you are participating in Mrs India Queen of Substance?
  • Mrs. India Queen of Substance is a huge platform where I can get help to solve the social issues related to Women and Children welfare. Meet influential people and get more support and funds for a cause.

  • What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
  • Hunger and malnutrition in our country and various environmental issues like deforestation, mining and economic development at the cost of environment is something that bothers me.

  • One day at a time!

  • Never give up and to keep trying till you succeed.

  • If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what Value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?
  • Definitely I would work towards women empowerment in India especially in rural areas where patriarchal system still exists, women are restricted to cooking and raising children. Support women and children rights by providing education which will be available and affordable to all.
