  • Your Achievements that makes you feel high.
  • I come from a middle class family and have given my more than cent percent to be where I am today. Being a sincere student in my early years I had always dreamt of becoming a doctor and treat people in pain. I have tasted failures and have learned my lessons from them. From a point in life where I was a 26 year old separated/ divorced woman dealing with infertility and other health issues with just a graduate degree , to crossing many hurdles and milestones to achieve my masters in General Surgery and becoming a Member of Royal College of Surgeons and finding the man of my dreams makes me feel high. Life has been a roller coster ride for me and I have cherished every bit of it may it be my failures or my success.

  • Define the true beauty.
  • True beauty I think lies in confidence, the way you hold yourself and treat your fellow-beings. It is in the act and thought of a person which makes your heart go through an exhilarating emotional experience.

  • What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?
  • A family that eats together, sleeps together, prays together and in difficult times support each other to be optimistic and hopeful is a complete, healthy and happy family for me. When the notes of love ,loyalty and gratitude are played in family then the music that comes out bring harmony in family. In family one should be able to accept each other for who they are and their perspectives.

Beauty pageants as I have seen and understood also make you more poised and I want to experience this journey which will help me to transform to the best possible version of me.

  • What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
  • There are many things which are bothering me currently prevailing across the country, but being in medical profession something most bothering is that even after 70 yrs of independence our country cannot provide proper healthcare facilities to its entire population which is minimum basic right of every citizen. Health-care is a neglected issue in India which am sure everyone must have felt during covid times when we lost our near and dear ones. As per survey by NITI ayog we only have 1.3 hospital beds per 1000 population. There are still many villages in India which have no access to healthcare facilities. There is insufficient research funding and high cost of healthcare are other challenges our country is facing. To sum up india ranks 154th in health spending, which is fifth from the bottom.

  • What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?
  • Good sportsmanship to me means to be fair and ethical and to be able to encourage or inspire his team to perspire. Irrespective of the fact whether you win or lose ,you should be able to leave it on a good note. Have the courage to bear defeat without losing heart is a great attribute and that defines a true sportsmanship.
