  • Mathura
  • A Brief about yourself and how you describe your own Personality and Persona.
  • Nothing is more powerful than positive thinking as u eventually turn out to be what your mind think , this is me Charu 44years, happily married for 17 years to a loving & caring husband & a doting mother of three beautiful children , and also a leading gynecologist & president of obs & gynec society of Mathura ,the birth place of Lord Krishna. I would like myself to be known as a spiritual , optimistic , and hard working women . I am compassionate to my patients and strongly protective for my family. I am what I am today due to my family especially my extremely supportive husband as well as my focused hard work &sheer determination of thought. I am 24 hrs hands on mother striving day & night to balance between my kids &my hospital patients . I derive my mental& physical strength from meditation , yoga , workout , thought full diet & not the least by remembering god. I love to treat my patients with my full ability & knowledge, I cook nutritive food for my foodie husband & children. Somehow I manage to steal out some time for my inner self , to dress up , to dance to watch television , to freak out with friends . I believe in myself , living my life fully with my dreams.

  • Your Achievements that makes you feel high.
  • My greatest achievement , has been able to play a major role in preventing curable maternal mortality & morbidity since my graduation period only . As a young intern in village outreach program I faced a dilemma that expectant mother could be saved just by providing basic nutrition , health care &medicine. Even its basic right to health is inaccessible for young poor ladies due to lack of knowledge as well as resources, so my heart went for this cause &got determined to work in this direction that is why I chose my specialization in obs. & gynae . Now I feel extremely proud to declare that I am doing my handful for my dream,I have been able to set up a small but self sufficient maternity hospital in Mathura with high quality standards . I am also providing free consultation &essential medicines to the needy women .Currently due to my dynamic personality& social activities I have been relied upon for the post of president of Mathura obs. & gynae. society.

  • Define the true beauty.
  • Beauty captivates us ,attracts us , & compels us & finally we feel good , high & relaxed . One may find beauty in mother nature , a pretty face ,a strong persona & so on. As the old saying goes '' beauty lies in the eyes of beholder '' for me true beauty lies behind the thoughtful personality with an emotional &caring soul. True beauty is not physical but one who is compassionate with heart of gold & mind full of peace with positive attitude towards life.

  • What makes a complete, healthy and happy family for you?
  • A complete family may be a joint or nuclear one but foundation should be strong , it should be the duty of elders to inculcate good habits &strong moral values to the younger ones in a family. Discipline &love should go hand in hand .Younger ones in the family should respect the elders but should have no fears from them . There should be lot of space , respect , trust &mutual understanding among family members whether big or small , working or non working

  • What is your favorite Idea of Holidaying?
  • Holiday bring to me a lot of positive vibrations .My favorite idea of holidaying is a place & time where I can completely detox & de-stress myself .I may be able to absorb the serenity of nature , pamper my body , rediscover my energies , interact with locales , initiate a dialogue with my inner self & some quality time with my partner whom I love the most.

  • What bothers you most about what is happening in the country today?
  • There are my many thoughtful issues one of which that bother me the most& one which generally gets unnoticed as well as worrisome is the'' issue of mental health''. The level of mental health is deteriorating all over the world .In our country the problem further deepens as the stigma attached with the problem makes the diagnosis &eventual cure very difficult . Mental health should be introduced at school level as the young generation is affected most . It should be taught to young minds that mental health is as important as physical one . Depression is not a personal problem but curable disease if we share our problems.

  • The Quote or saying that encourages you?
  • ''In order to carry a positive action we must develop here a positive vision'' .... Dalai Lama . This is what i try to materialize in my daily living .

  • What is true “Sportsmanship” for you?
  • Sportsmanship for me would be as written in Bhagwat Gita; when Krishna said to Arjuna '' you have a right to perform your prescribed duty , but you are not entitled to the fruits of action. Never consider the cause of your activities ,and never be attached to not doing your duty'' We should play with best performance that we can but without thinking the result , the philosophy is essential that it helps us remain cool &relatively detached during performances. As anyway God will give us what we deserve . At the same time it strengthens us to face failures with dignity.

  • If you were selected as a Charity Ambassador what Value addition would you like to make for our Society and how?
  • As a charity ambassador I would work mainly for poor women & children & their mental & physical development they need ,will organize camps for health checkups& provide them education about personal hygiene ,nutrition , will distribute free medicines, and will try to increase their self confidence. They should get full knowledge of government help programmes & how to avail them. India's large part is staying below poverty line having inadequate food , clothing & shelter. Really needed thoughtful subject. Definitely Iwill try my best to help them.
